2008 CHARDONNAY Carneros This is the twentieth release of Solitude Carneros Chardonnay. Aromas of coconut, mango, fig, quince and crème brulee are typical of the cool Carneros region. Layers of rich oak are evident, but not overwhelming. The wine is rich, but elegant and retains refreshing acidity to keep the wine balanced. 1,776 cases (12x750ml) produced.

		2004 PINOT NOIR Carneros “Sangiacomo Vineyard” The Solitude wines are produced using the traditional techniques of Burgundy. These include using whole clusters, a cold soak, and punching down rather than pumping over. The fresh raspberry and chocolate truffle aromas are complemented by vanilla, toast and smoke from aging the wine in French oak barrels. 529 cases of 750ml produced.
		2004 PINOT NOIR Russian River Valley “Rochioli Vineyard” These grapes come from the most famous Pinot Noir vineyard in California. Grapes from the “River Block”, which was planted in 1989, tend to create wine of great clarity and vineyard character. This vintage is exceptionally dense and expansive and provides great aging potential. 121 cases of 750ml produced.
